Among the great oases of Egypt, Kharga was an important stop on the ancient trade route. We have therefore imagined the collection as a journey through the Sahara. Kharga embodies all the facets of the desert, from the dazzling sun at its zenith to the sparkling starry sky. We have left no stone unturned. Even the materials frequently used in the making of handmade carpets and nomadic clothing are represented.
