Designed to meet the requirements of the restoration of old heritage such as listed buildings or historical monuments, it has all the characteristics of old-fashioned joinery. With a thickness of 36 mm sashes assembled by forging, this French oak joinery accommodates the single glazing of your choice (blown or drawn glazing) or a 6 mm insulating glazing equivalent to triple glazing (Ug = 0.7). This new generation glazing provides insulation as efficient as triple glazing, while being as thin as single glazing. To preserve the soul and the original aspect of the facade, a real mastic flashing finish is made by our carpenters. This traditional straight-edged joinery, with its notched hinges and its sheepshead and wolf's mouth closure, perfectly meets all the requirements of heritage renovation. The round-tipped hinges and the hand-forged laced espagnolette match perfectly with the natural oiled finish, which gives the "Primalou" all the charm of yesteryear. The creation of this range allows us to respond specifically to the renovation of old buildings or listed sites requiring the installation of single glazed joinery. Preserving the original appearance of the building while providing comfort and insulation is the promise of our innovation. To learn more about this innovation, please contact us.
